The Territory & Service allocation factor default to values set in the Avail Configuration but can be changed individually for an Avail List.
The # of Prime Premiere days is calculated for the Avail List month. It is based on the premiere weekday set in the Avail List configuration for the Service.
The Avails cost of programming calculation is based on the EBU estimate value, but if an actual EBU value is present in the database it is possible to change the displayed values to be based on the actual EBU.
The cost of programming is broken down by Flat Fee and CPS, as well as by Movies and Non-Movies.
A filter for Movie/Non-Movies controls the selection of titles displayed. The filter provides three options for All titles in the Avail, Movies and Non-Movies. Remember that even if a filter is active, totals at the bottom of the list apply to all titles assigned to the months Avail List.
The following information is displayed for each title assigned to the Avail:
Distributor: the contract licensor
HouseNo & Title: programs original title and house number
Contract Status: a list of letters indicating the current status for the related Contract; possible letters are:
A: Contracts Agreement date set
E: Contracts Execution date set
I: Contracts E&O Insurance date set
L: Contracts license agreement indicator set
Material Status: the current Traffic material status; possible values are:
N/A: Programs Delivery date not set
PND: Programs original master not received nor requested yet
REQ: Programs original master requested but not received
TQC: Programs original master received and awaiting technical evaluation
OK: Programs original master received and accepted
BAD: Programs original master received but rejected by TQC
Begin Rights: the license Avail Start date
Distr. Class: the titles classification according to the license agreement (Distributor Classification)
Product Type : the product type (movie, non-movie, etc); this value is based on the Distributor category, determined by parameters set in the Avail List configuration.
License Period: the remaining license period, in months, based on the Avail List month and the licensees Avail End date
Exclusivity Window : remaining exclusivity window, from the Avail Lists month
Pref. Service: the titles preferred Service for premiere
Planned Premiere: the planned premiere date
First Play Date: the titles first scheduled date (only available if the title has already been scheduled on the Service/Territory)
Flat Fee or CPS: program license fee
Allocation: programs allocation factor, which depends on the title being licensed to multiple Territories and/or scheduled for multiple Services
Flat Cost or CPS Cost: calculated license cost based on the EBU value used (estimate or actual) and the titles allocation factor
Category: the titles internal category
Contract Notes: contract licensing notes from the program's Contract Rights info.
Other Avail: a list of other Avail Lists the title is also assigned to
Inventory : the inventory the titles is assigned to; if different from the one assigned for "programmable" titles, (the line will assume the colour assigned for titles "Not in Inventory" in the Avail Configuration screen)
Lines are coloured according to each titles Contract & Material statuses and the colour scheme can be set in the Avail List configuration. A legend at the bottom of the list indicates the colour scheme in effect.
Double-clicking on any line will bring the corresponding titles Contract Information screen allowing changes to its parameters.
The program palette icon opens a new window with a list of titles licensed to the Service & Territory. Titles may be dragged from the palette into the Avail list, thus assigning the program to the present Avail List. When the palette is initially open it will show programs licensed for the Service with the Avail starting in the Avail List month.
The Delete button removes titles from the Avail List.
Additional buttons on the screen:
The Details button brings the programs Burst Plan screen for the selected title
The Program Copies button displays a list of available program copies (versions) for the selected title
The Contract Info button brings the Contract record that corresponds to the selected title
The sort icon brings up a Sort Editor screen where multiple columns can be selected for sorting.
Columns can be selected for sorting by dbl-clicking or dragging it to the sort box.
Lines can be rearranged on the sort box by drag & drop.
Clicking the arrow on the sort box sets the sort to ascending or descending order.
The to Excel button will export the spreadsheet contents in a tab-delimited text file that can be opened with Microsoft Excel
The padlock is used to close (or reopen) and Avail for modification. A closed Avail does not accept any changes and the EBU estimate does not change, even if the EBU database is updated. That will guarantee that the EBU value used when an Avail is closed stays unchanged.
The LOG button shows up a log of changes made to the Avail List since its close. Logs are generated after an Avail List is clsoed for the first time.
The Avail List list screen includes a button to Excel that creates an Excel export with information from all Avail Lists currently selected. Users can select the Avail List desired and request that a single Excel file be generated with all Avail Lists combined
